A picture I'm using for the ref sheet of Rais in the Tournament. I'll add a little more to it, but I wanted to get at least this picture up.
For those of you who don't know, Rais isn't like Laharl or Mao (main characters of Disgaea and Disgaea 3) in the fact that he doesn't use a sword. He uses a rather long spear, for his hight. He considers himself the best spearmen there is.
Heheheh, I wonder if 's Jinga would agree.
But anyway, here's information on Rais, for the sake of those of you who don't know of him.....that would be you all in this tournament >o>;;
Name: Rais Age: 1312 Gender: Male Class: Demon (Prince) Bio: Rais is the prince of a netherworld currently run by his oldest sister, Overlord "Black" Rosarellie. He was imprisoned at a young age due to a profecy his second older sister Pram had, fortelling his power growing and bringing the cosmos to it's knees once he'd gotten older. His father, King Angellus' castle was raided, his as well as his wife's death occuring in the process, all so that Rais could be thrown in a deep demonic jail, and have power restraints placed on him.
Rais escaped years later with the aid of his vassal Balfier, a demonic living pendant. He now aims to collect an army of vassal, overthrow his older sister, and claim his rightful title of Overlord.
He is willing to do whatever he must in order to reach his goal, even if he doesn't quite understand what it is he has to do. His mana power is higher than that of any recorded demon, but it is almost all restrained by the unremovable shackles on his wrists, ankles and waist, reducing his level to that of a Demon Lord, instead of an Overlord.
He harbored a hatred for humans until his vassal, Morgan, whom he was actually tricked into marrying, showed him that they weren't so useless. He initially hated them merely because his mother, a human, died protecting him. He thought of her as a weakling since she'd died in such a way. It wasn't until meeting Morgan that he realized he'd been wrong about his mother.

Looking good, Kai. Better than usual for you, even. =o
No matter... I'm also in the OCBC2 and you've been added to my hit list. >D
It was fun reading your ref also. I like a good short story every now and then.
Also, it's interesting how prophecies like those ALWAYS come true because people try to stop them in the first place.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
